Private Events at The Grove Bierhall

The Bierhall

Located in St. Louis' Grove neighborhood, we utilize this brewery as the source of most of our beer production and packaging. The Bierhall is outfitted with rows of large communal tables a bar that is over 100 feet long! Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating on our terrace.

Happy Hours at the Grove Bierhall

Looking for a happy hour spot? Our Bierhall is great for walk-in groups of up to 30 people. No reservation fee required, but we ask that you call us at 314-222-0143 to notify us if you are bringing a large group.

The Terrace

Our elevated, outdoor terrace is located near the back of the Bierhall and overlooks The Grove neighborhood. The space works best for smaller to medium sized groups up to 100.

Terrace rental rate: $1000. The Terrace does not allow catering or outside food. Beers can be purchased at the bar; food can be ordered over the Essen counter.

Grove Meeting Room

Host your next meeting off-site and enjoy an impromptu happy hour afterward. Our Grove Meeting Room is the perfect meeting place for groups up to 60. For more information about this space rental, please contact events@urbanchestnut.com.

Room rental rate: $500. This room has no server option, but we do offer catering with advance notice, or you may bring in outside food for your event.

The Game Room

$1,000 Tuesday-Thursday

$2,500 Friday-Sunday

($2,500 on ‘Blackout’ Dates, which are calendar days that UCBC has pre-determined as key sporting event days, e.g. Super Bowl, Blues games, CITY SC games, etc.)
 
UCBC’s newest event space, which is connected to our new front patio, features a full service (beer & cocktail) bar.  It’s, as we like to call it, ‘The place to catch The Game’, because it’s essentially an upscale sports-viewing venue…an ideal private party space for watching your favorite sporting event or just hosting a fun-loving party.

Beverages

Since UCBC is first and foremost a craft brewery, our drink offerings revolve around our beers. Beer selections vary throughout the year, so please speak with your coordinator regarding available styles. In addition to Urban Chestnut beers, a selection wines, seltzers, and soft drinks are available.

Food

Our Grove Bierhall food menu items are available for purchase for your guests, or you may choose to work with an outside caterer. Please consult your coordinator for more information.
