Visit Urban Chestnut Breweries
Urban Chestnut operates two brewery locations in the city of Saint Louis–each offers a unique guest experience. Our original location, the Midtown Biergarten, features a traditional German Biergarten and a cozy taste room. Our second location, the Grove Bierhall, houses a large, industrial style Bierhall with long, communal tables–perfect for large groups and happy hours.
The Grove Bierhall
Our large industrial, bierhall offering a wide selection of UCBC bier offerings and European-inspired cuisine.
Bierhall Hours:
Tues-Thurs: Noon - 10pm
Fri-Sat: Noon – 12am
Sun: Noon – 9pm
Kitchen closes at 9:30pm Tues-Sat, and at 8:30pm on Sundays. Late night pizza by the slice available until sold out on Fri and Sat nights.
Urban Research Brewery (The U.R.B.) Hours:
Friday: 5pm – 10pm
Saturday: Noon – 10pm

The Midtown Biergarten
Our original location featuring a large outdoor Biergarten and intimate Taste Room.
Brass Burger by Niche Food Group is serving up their delicious menu at our Midtown location this summer! Stop in for a Brass Burger, fried chicken sandwich, shoestring fries and more!
Taste Room & Kitchen Hours:
Wed-Thurs: 4pm–10pm
Fri-Sat: 11am-10pm
Sun: 11am–7pm
We will be opening from 12pm-10pm on Tuesday 7/30 and Wednesday 7/31 in honor of Phish coming to Chaifetz Arena those days!
Please note: starting 8/2, our Fri, Sat. and Sun. opening time will move to 12pm. Thank you!

Our third brewery is located in the Hallertau region of southern Germany, near our Brewmaster's home town. Here we brew the Hallertauer Series - small batches of locally sourced, Bavarian bier.
